A COLLABORATION OF TWO CULINARY GREATS
Tom Parker Bowles graces Australia exclusively for a limited four-day engagement with our very own Scott Pickett. It’s a reunion nearly a decade in the making, sparked by their lasting camaraderie on the set of the TV sensation ‘Hotplate’ back in 2015. The shared passion and cheeky nature of these two culinary masters will make for an entertaining evening.
Prepare to be enthralled by a special Longrain banquet menu, inspired by Tom’s favourite Thai dishes—a cuisine close to his heart. In the midst of dinner, the evening takes a more intimate turn as much-loved Australian media personality, Rebecca Maddern, guides us through an engaging Q&A session With Parker Bowles and Pickett. This event promises to not only activate your taste buds but also offer a rare insight into the world of royal culinary experiences.
Tom Parker Bowles, the British food writer and Restaurant Critic for The Mail on Sunday, brings with him a wealth of culinary expertise, crowned with prestigious awards, including the Guild of Food Writers 2010 award and the Fortnum and Mason Food Critic of the Year in 2020. He is also the Food Editor of Esquire and a Contributing Editor to Condé Nast Traveller. Recognized for his discerning role as a judge and critic on various television food series, including MasterChef, Tom is the accomplished author of eight books on food.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the culinary synergy of these two greats. We eagerly await the privilege of hosting you.

ABOUT THE MENU
Each of these special dishes is a Longrain interpretation on Tom’s Thai favourites, created in collaboration with Scott and Longrain’s chefs. You’ll see influence from local Australian ingredients, like the traditional hot & sour soup with the addition of marron, and the Chaing Mai larb made with the much-loved local Loddon Estate whole duck. The duck is roasted in peking duck style then the whole duck is prepared into the Thai larb.
Amongst the special dishes, enjoy Longrain signatures like our betel leaf and eggnet, loved by Melburnians for 18 years!
Champagne on arrival is provided by Billecart-Salmon and there will be a list of Longrain signature cocktails, wine and beer available on the night.
